Over New Year's. We took the train from Seattle to downtown Portland. The zoo and childrens' museum was easily accessible by light rail from our hotel, and as you can see, there was a lot going on downtown as well. The hotel had a pool which is going to be a necessity for the next few years, I think. Sara liked the food carts. I guess we will be seeing more of those up here in Seattle soon.
