Theo's First Hike

Went went hiking today, up to Snow Creek wall off Icicle Creek. We (Sara, her friend from Minnesota Jennifer, Theo and I) decided we'd avoid the storm coming into the state by going east, and the strategy worked out great. We had sunshine and hot weather. Theo did great on the hike, getting a little hot in the Bjorn (which is admittedly not ideal for hiking, but Theo is still too small for the the Kelty pack). He fed quite frequently this afternoon and the rest of the day. We also got to see Snow Creek wall, which I haven't been to since climbing Outer Space six or eight years ago.

We forgot the camera, so you'll have to imagine the pictures yourself.

Trip to Minnesota

I'm totally tardy in getting these pictures up. We were out in Minnesota the first week of August. The weather was great, the whole Moreland clan was up at the lake, we saw a ton of Sara's friends, and we got a tour of the actual city of Minneapolis, which actually does exist in the middle of all the 'burbs that I usually tour when I'm back there.

Theo's officially on his tummy now, and raising his head. His arm control's been grown as well---apparently on Wednesday, when Nana came over to babysit while we went down to Voila to celebrate Sara's birthday, Theo started batting at the turtle on his bouncy seat.
