After eating cupcakes, we just threw Theo into the pool rather than wiping off the squirming excited baby.

The Opening of Theo's Birthday Month

Theo's first birthday is being celebrated over the entire month of May. We kicked it off today when Sara's folks were in town. Here's Theo showing off his first experience with chocolate (a chocolate pudding cake with whipped cream).



He started off carefully scraping the whipped cream into his mount, leaving the chocolate untouched. Then he found the chocolate and went at it wth both hands. He was quite enthusiastic by the end.
